Our original intention visiting Costa Rica was purely for entertainment purposes. Upon arriving I was asked to consult on a job (Internet) for a local land developer. That paid for our trip straight out in 24 hours. This led to game of me turning my trip time into business while not upsetting my wife with this decision. Needless to say I pleasantly shocked by the amount of Samara Beach business owners seeks my skillzs. :-)

This started my domaining of Costa Rican dot tv names at which time I ran into Kevin of Global.tv. Turns out they were not interested in unloading CostaRica.tv, but they were interested in what I was doing down there. In time Kevin and myself became friends which led to a request that I speak at the Global.tv Summit in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The days following my return to rural Washington, NC found me sick and overwhelmed with all the work that was waiting for me. Well, that time has passed and I’m back at it in full force! My first task was setting up a site for MacEwan Media at macewan.tv. The purpose of the site is a home base for my dot tv business dealing and discussions on trends and news in the .TV world.

So are you going to see with the Blaze Media Pro? One word, everything. From MOV converter to their video encoder and audio converter with an easy to use yet powerful package. Think of it as an all-in-one multimedia application with SVCD, DVD to VCD burning. That all those DVD, CD, TV shows - EVERYTHING can be pulled into the digital format most want. There just isn’t enough room to go through all options they packed into this software.

Needed cooling off time after negotiating my time - I’m trying to select the right projects to take on. Any project manager runs into the same problem when multiple items need attention. So I went to do a little shopping during my simmering break and what did I come across? Simply the coolest damn docking station to cross this browser in quite some time. The Jensen JiMS 525i is PACKED with awesome extras.

10 years ago while working with an Internet Service Provider, back in the day of dial-up, we batted around the idea of starting a Call Center. If memory serves me the first thing that came to my mind was the professional call centers would demolish this company in time.

Working with more captal, better technology and know-how, we didn’t stand a chance. I mean come on, would a company want their answering service handled by a company that was started as an after thought or one with does <a href=”http://www.mapcommunications.com/services/” target=”_blank”>Answering Service</a&gt;* with a dynamic and proprietary answering service? *emphasized on purpose.

The New York Times is reporting that Microsoft did offer $33 a share as I had previously mentioned. However, Yahoo! rebuffed the offer and counted that nothing less than $37 would be considered. As could be expected this led to an increase in MS shares while Yahoo! is sure to turn south.

Microsoft said it was abandoning its blockbuster bid to acquire Yahoo after the two companies could not agree on a price.

All things considered Yahoo! has finally awoken as a result of the battle. Once again they are sure to be taken seriously when planning long term use of technologies offered. Whether Flickr, MyBlogLog or UpComing developers can breath a sigh of relief. There had been secret whispers of the death of all things Yahoo! if the Microsoft Corp. took over.

Little Miss JaneyBell of Penalties and Parenthood fame has not only bumped up in Google Page Rank to 3 she has also shown up in Business Week > Business > Investing section. Thankfully we cleansed that site of Izea trash code. Third site under a month to jump along =) the sweet track record my lovelies.

Always remember that nobody can dictate your success if you have your heart in making it. Those rising too fast may loss their way and stumble. Mistakes will only lead to more experiences which, when seen in the right light, help build the solid foundation required. Our next goal will be BANS sites, but before this we need to apply for a ClickBank account.

Today I find myself 5 domains short of 100. Yup, that’s right 90freaking5 domains. The last 5 were won at auction - my first endeavor in the fine art of finger crossing and wishful thinking. Luckily the price was right or the sun spots love me. All this excitement has let to a self imposed acquisition moratorium through March which hopefully will allow time to complete a few of the projects I’m working on each day. Honestly, I really am too skinny to be stretched this thinly.

I was telling breezie of forumfinder.net this afternoon about PredictAd code being added to the posties.us project she heads up. Looks like membership is waaay up this week closing in at 60 posties total. By the way, if you need a project manager Breezie should top your list. This is a purpose driven forum for posties by posties. With less than $30 in 3 weeks this community is showing 21,806 page views. Not too shabby. My mystery buddy bombmaster2 joined shortly after the sites inception followed by JaneyBell of Toddler Reality Show and JaneyBell.net. Her next project is the kickass CarolinaHockey.tv site!
