gOS 3 Gadgets Final – Ubuntu Linux for Netbooks gOS 3 default installation. gOS Gadgets 3 is a special Ubuntu distribution made for netbooks. It is based on Ubuntu 8.04.1. You can download the Installation disk from http://www.thinkgos.com/gos.php. It is a Live CD so you can try it on you desktop or laptop without making any changes to your computer. Tried the Live CD on my Wife's Dell Inspiron 1525 and everything worked great except I couldn't get the wireless working. I'm sure I could have gotten it working with some tweaking though.
