Testing software on Ubuntu Linux is sorta my thing. In this installment I chose AlertThingy. The website incorrectly id’s Ubuntu Linux as unable to use the software. Adobe Air has released an Alpha of the client for Linux. It works. This screenshot is wrong.

AlertThingy.com incorrectly stating that Adobe Air does not work on Linux

Giant shoutout to Valerio for providing the link to the .air for us.

Seesmic invite

by macewan on April 26, 2008

Received a Seesmic invite yesterday. Goes along with the Adobe Air client Twhirl.org provides. This led me to the Sprout Builder flash widget IDE. Will probably be an hour or so before I can fully test it out. Right now I’m heading over to play HORSE to help raise money for the Beaufort County Developmental Center.
