Adobe Air is available for Linux. Download Adobe AIR for Linux (BIN, 15.1 MB). I currently have tested several Adobe® AIR™ for Linux public alpha programs including Pownce, Twhirl and now the AlertThingy.

Testing software on Ubuntu Linux is sorta my thing. In this installment I chose AlertThingy. The website incorrectly id’s Ubuntu Linux as unable to use the software. Adobe Air has released an Alpha of the client for Linux. It works. This screenshot is wrong.
Received a Seesmic invite yesterday. Goes along with the Adobe Air client Twhirl.org provides. This led me to the Sprout Builder flash widget IDE. Will probably be an hour or so before I can fully test it out. Right now I’m heading over to play HORSE to help raise money for the Beaufort County Developmental Center.

After two weeks of batting the idea around I decided against using a premium template - at least for now. Selecting a designer for the customized route feels like the right path to take. If you have any suggestions please comment here.
