JaneyBell in Business Week over Obama question

Little Miss JaneyBell of Penalties and Parenthood fame has not only bumped up in Google Page Rank to 3 she has also shown up in Business Week > Business > Investing section. Thankfully we cleansed that site of Izea trash code. Third site under a month to jump along =) the sweet track record my lovelies.

Always remember that nobody can dictate your success if you have your heart in making it. Those rising too fast may loss their way and stumble. Mistakes will only lead to more experiences which, when seen in the right light, help build the solid foundation required. Our next goal will be BANS sites, but before this we need to apply for a ClickBank account.

Wowza… Janeybell is so successful. I like her hockey blog… too bad I’m not passionate enough about just one sport (or one thing, for that matter) to have a blog dedicated to it. Maybe she is, and kudos to her for that. So… what was wrong with her blog before??? Did she have that IZEA ITK code ownership thing??? I’m guessing she had it and then took it off because her blog is no longer in the realranks database..?

Yes, she did cleanse (remove) Izea code as to not taint its content. JaneyBell is a very talented writer and as such I’m saving her potential for use in a more sustainable income than PayPerPost. As a stay at home mom her time is worth more than 8.40 and the hassles that go along with it. Oh yeah she’s a hockey fanatic.

But honestly… why does Google hate IZEA so much? Other than the fact that they have come up with a new ranking system to rival PR, there isn’t that much that Google would spit every one’s blogs that have anything to do with PPP. I mean, even if there are people that participate in IZEA and paid advertising stuff, Google should still give credit where it’s due to blogs that produce good, fresh content. Seems that they’re just bitter…

You know what I also thought Google was targeting PPP at first. Joining discussions on Wired and Techcrunch sing the praises of P3 boohooing Googles decision to zero in on PayPerPost. Now days it does seem that Google was making the right decision considering what is in my opinion a closed system of spam blogs used to generate buzz. Their Izea ranking worthless from what I’ve seen. Hardly a “rival” to Google’s systems. Google does give credit where credit is due. Izea sites have very high Google Page Ranks =) it’s only the participants in the blogging scam part that have their ranks stripped. As far as Izea rankings… hovering at 100 and as low as 65 meant absolutely nothing to advertisers.

I feel lucky to have seen the light so early. Enlightenment is difficult when ass loads of cash is rolling in every day. Doing a bit of research shows that when PPP does something it’s in reaction to a perceived threat coming down the road - a threat to their company not the bloggers.

Seriously, real blogs should never use Izea better to set up crap blogs knowing ahead of time the content is as close to fiction as one can get. ;-)

“Enlightenment is difficult when ass loads of cash is rolling in every day.” Hmm… at least you’ve got the balls to pull away even when the going is good. Perhaps for some (who see blogging as more of a way of life instead of as a hobby) sticking with PPP was a bad idea, considering that their stripped PRs would make monetization harder in the long run… But for the rest of us who just use PPP to make a little extra cash… I guess it is ok. But yes, I do agree with you. Sometimes PPP blogs contain crap that is obviously sponsored and obviously typed for money but you know (even mine), but I guess some people prefer short-term than long term.

For you obviously, I guess it is quite smart to have gotten away from IZEA while you still could. And yes, I agree with you about the RealRanks thing. It seems that PPP just made a big deal about it, but now look where it has gotten them; no one really cares about RealRanks. Even bloggers with PPP don’t see any benefit from lowering your RealRank as opportunity requirements have nothing to do with RealRank. Or maybe they just created it just to make bloggers stick with PPP, I dunno.

O and… by the way :P how come your feedburner readership fluctuates so much? That’s probably a dumb question but I’ve seen it as high as 120+ and as low as like 99… Too bad I’m to lazy to sign up for Feedburner… or else I would definitely subscribe to this blog :P

Izea’s Real Rank demonstrates their sloppy reactionary techniques to market forces. It also shows that they knew Google was going to slam blog page ranks for sites associated with P3. This means they not only did they not warn users but that they only prepped themselves. How sleazy is that? Very telling if you ask me.
