Howto install Flash 9 on Flock 0.9.0 in Ubuntu Linux

by macewan on July 16, 2007

You are enjoying Flock 0.9.0  and happen to have followed a link to check out “Awn svn, in all its 3D and reflective glory” when you realize that Flash isn’t doing the flash thing.

Whoops! OK, here is what you need to do. Open a terminal and cd to the plugins directory of Flock. Now type this:

you@desktop:~/path2/plugins$ sudo cp /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so .

Refresh the streaming video page and you are good to go.

cheers,

macewan
