This skateboarding terrorist ring was taken DOWN by Joey “the female wrestler” Williams. Jojo, or Josey as the terrorist boarders call him, stated that his female wrestling career helped in this particular take down. “They never thought a guy as tough as me would strong arm a smaller female like I did”. Clearly those terrorboarders thought wrong!
I think I speak for all Americans in thanking Jojo for all this hard work.

you guys suck if you really think some guy beating some teenage kids up for riding a skateboard is making the world a better place. Some people who commits homicides sometimes get 2 years but then yet again if a skater stands up for his rights he will get beat up and fined.
Police suck aswell, they are supossed to make the world a better and safer place but realisticly it just gives them more right and they get better deals out of things.
i think i speak on behalf of most of THE WORLD to say Joey you are the best representitive and could be president of being a complete fcking Jackass.

I for one think that the cop should get fired because he had choked a teenage girl. Men are not allowed to lay hands on teenage girls or other women. I think the cop should be charged with what he had done to the kids. He is like 150 pounds bigger then these kids. The fat ass deserves it. He is a no good dirty bastard. If he has to go beat up on teenagers for the attention then he needs his help. I thought I would just voice my opinion about the pathetic officer joey williams (yes, I realize I did not capitalize his name. I’m not incompetent, I just don’t believe he deserves even the least bit of respect)tackling the skateboarding teens.
I think it is pathetic that it is allowed in this country for pompous assholes AKA “the police” to tackle teenagers for skateboarding. It is people like joey who jeopardize the title “Land of the Free”… when I think of what this country is based on, I do not believe it should include overzealous abusive losers, such as your officer… I do not expect this e-mail nor any other citizens e-mail to make any bit of a difference to you or the people/city you work with/for. I just thought I’d let you know that on a human level(if you know what that is), this is wrong.

Hey, the sad fact is, this did not have to turn out like it did or even happen at all!
Imagine how things would go if this officer were put in a cruiser and HAD to chase down ‘the one’s that sped off’ because they wouldn’t listen to him…!!
If I were this officer’s supervisors, I would recomend a bit more sensitivity training…right away.
One more thing, I don’t know how this guy sleeps at night knowing he put these young kids in headlocks, slammed them to the concrete and is shown practically choking a young girl…bet the girl’s father is not too happy about that picture.
Here’s a proper punishment for this Kojack look-a-like, (he’s probably 34 but looks 64)…Tony Hawk, the pro skateboarder, should give this cop one FREE lesson on a giant half pipe out in California. He should then be forced to ride the half pipe (a 30 footer) for 6 hours, see how he runs after teens then !!
It should be televised LIVE for all America to see.

To: Hot Springs, Arkansas Police Department
We as a united global community are standing up firm against the Hot Springs, Arkansas Police Department for their allowance of Officer Joey Williams to return and remain on the police force- despite what many in the global community are calling “police brutality” and “excessive force.”
As you may already know or may have already heard, many peoples throughout the world have been, and are, appalled and outraged over the recent viral video which has been posted on youtube.com. Not to mention, many peoples throughout the world are also outraged at the Hot Springs Police Department’s reaction of quickly returning to duty Officer Joey Williams despite over whelming dissent and calls for his immediate termination.
The popular youtube video shows clearly several Hot Springs, Arkansas youths plagued by what again many are calling “police brutality” and “excessive force”. This event took place in what has historically been a popular down town tourist area in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
We as a united global community have therefore decided to demand the Hot Springs Police Department re-investigate the actions of Officer Joey Williams, and to hold him to a fair and fully accountable investigative trial.
This extremely popular series of youtube videos has set several amazing records for viewership, with a whopping and continuously growing 2,000,000+ views and growing everyday!
You can find this popular video by simply searching under skateboarders, skateboard, hot springs skateboarders, police brutality, and or other various search words and phrases. There are many versions and many different peoples commenting about this video on line.
In addition to the many versions of the video on the internet, the event has garnered a mass array of media coverage throughout mainstream television and other grassroots media sources- CNN, Fox, arkansas.indymedia.org, and the extremely popular activist myspace page http://www.myspace.com/unitedaid to name a few.
Here Is What Are We Demanding From You The Hot Springs, Arkansas Police Department:
1. We hereby demand you the Hot Springs, Arkansas Police Department to come forth with an official apology to the world via the skateboarders and their families and friends for whom have had to courageously go through this atrocious event.
2. We also hereby demand Officer Joey Williams to be re-investigated, and NOT to return to the City of Hot Springs, Arkansas Police Department for the general well being and welfare of our concerned Hot Springs, Arkansas citizens and united global peoples.

Here’s a thought.
Young or old, violating the law is violating the law, right? Ok, how many people have you seen be put in a choke hold for forgetting to use their blinker? Or how about jay walking in front of moving cars? Or an even better example, the new city ordinances that say you can’t have pets in certain parks or parts of the city? Does that give the officer the right to violently apprehend the violator if they argue, or even just ask a question? “Oh yeah, that happened to my grandma just the other day!!”-sarcasm. People supporting the officers need a reality check, this isn’t about skateboarding, it’s about people’s rights and non-violently upholding the law. You try and argue by saying Officer Joey was just doing his job and upholding the law. 1. It’s plain as day, he didn’t do his job correctly, and 2. even if he DID do his job correctly (because of a biased judge’s decision, it’s a judge’s job to protect an officer of the law FROM the law) maybe don’t you think there’s a tiny chance of something being really !@#$ed up about our legal system? And don’t you think it’s the public’s responsibility to try and correct such problems?

You make a valid point as far as it goes, but the force wasn’t about skateboarding, it was about fleeing and refusing an officer’s lawful commands, which rise to the level of a state criminal charge and thus allow force.
If an officer stops you for jaywalking and you run, the same laws apply. Now you’re in violation of a criminal statute instead of just a traffic ordinance.
This one’s over. You may not like the authority the officer had, but he legally had it.

its wrong, its a sport. its basically discrimnating why do people get to play football and baseball and not have to worry about this shit, these kids could be doing worse things like sniffin cocaine or throwing rocks at cars, there keeping themselfs occupied. if the town has such a problem with it then build a skatepark just like basketball courts are built. the cops a dick head, even if they were breaking the law you shouldnt treat someone like that, they werent a threat and didnt have to use force like that especially on young kids…shit if i seen my friend getting chocked by a cop i would run to…its not right even if they did break the law, there should be certain force used against certain threats and certain laws broken.

The skaters violated a city ordinance that said they couldn’t skateboard in that part of town. This doesn’t warrant arrest, its ticketable offense. So walking away from the cop doesn’t count as resisting arrest and everything that Officer Joey Williams was yelling about seems a bit useless.
Good for him for stopping such horrible crime. Maybe he wants to go tackle a murder case next. Or maybe he wants to arrest some thieves/robbers. He seems fit for the job of fighting crime and enforcing the law. Except for the part where he seems to be mentally ill and power hungry. But we can all forget about that as the American legal system has decided.
